As a grassroots effort to bring a new, innovative therapy to Daviess County, in 2003 Dream Riders of Kentucky was born. Started by a small group of parents with children with disabilities, Dream Riders of Kentucky has developed into a premier equine facility over the past 16 years.
Initially, programs were held in various arenas across Daviess County with borrowed horses. In 2014, the dream of owning a facility was realized. Through countless volunteer hours, donated materials, and financial contributions from the community, Dream Riders of Kentucky’s inside arena and accompanying horse stalls were built.
Physically located at 4705 Winkler Road, Philpot, Kentucky, the facility has further grown to include an outdoor riding arena, wooded riding trails, and additional shelters for the horses. Dream Riders of Kentucky is a welcoming environment where riders can truly enjoy the experience of bonding with horses.
