The expense for each 12-week therapeutic ride session is over $1,000 per rider. Families are asked to contribute a small percentage of that cost and Dream Riders “scholarships” the balance from its annual revenue. No child is denied the opportunity to participate based on income, and in cases of financial need, parents and guardians may satisfy the $150 fee through volunteer service.
The expense for each group ride session is $200. School and other special groups are asked to provide full cost of this fee. In rare cases, the cost of a group rides can be subsidized through proceeds from grant money.
