Bourbon & Bluegrass Century Ride

Saturday, August 3, 2019

The Bourbon & Bluegrass Century Ride is a charity event hosted annually by Bicycle Owensboro in support of Dream Riders of Kentucky. It is one of four rides in the Kentucky Century Challenge program. The Bourbon & Bluegrass Century Ride offers routes and distances for every level of rider from beginner to competitive cyclists. Route lengths include a full century (100 miles), metric century (62 miles), and a 33-mile route that begins and ends at O.Z. Tyler. Strategically placed rest stops are peppered throughout the route to provide cyclists an opportunity to rest, re-energize, and repair their bicycles. The rest stops are sponsored and manned by area businesses who provide nutrient-rich drinks and snacks.
