Group Ride Program

The Group Ride Program is a one-day, two-hour block program designed for community agencies that provide services to individuals with disabilities and/or special needs. However, Dream Riders is able to adapt the program to other groups that are interested learning more about horses, riding, and life on a farm.

Being in the fresh air, seeing new sights and sounds, and experiencing riding a horse moving only fun, but stimulating and therapeutic for riders of all abilities. Our programs may include individual riding, group riding on a horse-drawn carriage or wagon, education, and a craft. There is an indoor reception area and tables outside for post ride picnicking.

Programs are held typically between 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. because of the hot summer heat and can be build around the needs, interests, and goals of your riders. For the safety of our horses, all individual riders must be 200 lbs and under to ride. For those who do not meet this limit, the carriage or wagon ride are a great option. All riders must wear long pants and close-toed shoes, too, for their personal safety.
